The La Trobe University Greek Society (LUGS) is one of La Trobe University’s oldest clubs, founded in 1973 by first generation Greek-Australians looking to recreate the European lifestyle at the Bundoora campus — celebrating our culture with coffee days and club nights.

These days we host regular festivals, cultural workshops and souvlaki and frappe days on campus, as well as drinks nights, philosophy nights and an annual LUGS Dinner Dance.

During the day you’ll find the LUGS committee getting coffee in the Agora and making tiktoks, and at night if we’re not hosting an event you’ll find us at the barakia or the occasional CLUB ΣIGMA night.
